Why Is Nomination So Important?
The Nomination Facility is provided under Sections 45ZA to 45ZF of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 and the Banking Companies (Nomination) Rules, 1985. It allows depositors to nominate an individual who will be entitled to receive the funds in the unfortunate event of the depositor's demise.
